Dear Owl Mug, Thanks for coming into my life, I officially look forward to my morning coffee.   

Dear Scholastic, I love you! Thanks so much for all these beautiful pieces of literature to read to my girl.

Dear Fur Real Puppy, You're the best dog ever!

Jesus Loves Me App, Thanks for making an app my daughter loves and can learn verses and songs through.

Dear FaceTime, I'm so grateful for you and the fact that my girl can call her cousin any time.

Dear Bunnies in an Egg, You're adorable! We love learning lots of new concepts with your cuteness.

Dear Walmart Running Shorts, Thanks for making my runs better and only being $6.

Dear March Madness Bracket & Happy Mail, Thanks for welcoming in my birthday week!!

Dear Gazelle Sports, Not only have you made my feet happy on runs, my shoe shopping experience amazing, but you sent me a note and remembered my daughter's name.  Customer service at it's best! 

Dear Spring, We're ready for you!  Please send the snow away and let us frolic in shorts and swimsuits all day.

Dear McDonald's, Thanks for the chocolate milk and large water after my run.  For some reason it's nice to sit in my car with my toddler strapped in and be able to get quick recovery fuel up in peace.

Friday's Letters

Dear in-laws, you're amazing I can't thank you enough for taking such good care of my baby last weekend so I could send some much needed time away with the love of my life.  

Dear Francis & Lisa Chan, you inspire my husband and I to become a better example of Christ and the church.  This week we couldn't get enough of your books, videos, sermons, blog, etc.  I'm so grateful that although we may never meet you have profoundly impacted our lives for the better. Thank you so much for your teaching on the Holy Spirit, the forgotten God, in a "conservative, Biblical, He is in your life and will rock your world" kid of way! 

Dear Pastor Paul, I couldn't be more grateful to be part of your congregation in this season of our lives.  You're breaking has inspired our family so much!  Thank you for preaching applicable things for every day of the week, but not fluffing it up.  You tell it like it is {like the Bible says} and lay it all out there.  

Dear Pastor Jerry and the Freedom Ministry Team,  Wow! I don't think I've ever went to a study and watched away so wrecked.  Each week I soak up the teaching like a sponge and I feel like I'm re-learning how to walk.  I can not wait until Telos next weekend! It might just be the best day in March {and my birthday is in March!}  Every time I talk to someone about the class I just keep saying, "It's a game changer.  I transforms your life and how you think."  Purely amazing!

Friday's Letters

Dear Friday,  I couldn't be happier  to see you.  This week has been exhausting!  Dear Next Week, Will you pleas be gracious to me and go easy on me.  Fill my week with joy and laughter.  Dear Next Week, I can not wait to greet you! This is the one month a year that my hubby and I get away by ourselves for three days.  Three.  Whole.  Days!  I can't wait! Dear Math Class, Boo on you!  Dear Running, I've only enjoyed a good sweat once this week and I miss you.  Let's get together soon!

Dear Addi, Thanks for all the cuddles this week!  Even through the tears you bring so much joy to my life.  Dear Morgan,  I'm so glad to have you home today.  I can't wait to see you do crazy tricks and gymnastics.  Not to mention the fact that you told me you love our church and want to go all day long.  Priceless.  Dear Evan,  I can not wait to spend a long weekend away with you! Thanks for being my best friend.  Dear Riverside,  You are amazing! God has blessed our family by allowing us to be a part of your congregation.  I haven't walked away from a service so filled up in a long time!  Then there was the class I took this week.  The Lord is moving!  Thanks for letting Him work through you to bless so many.

Friday's Letters

Dear Addi, 

Girl you rocked potty training! You get the prize for the easiest little potty trainer ever.  It's funny because I think potty training brought us closer and we have lots of fun.  Songs, books, silly face, etc.  You bring joy to everything you do! {Despite your serious picture face.} 

Thanks for extending mommy some grace when I have to do homework.  You even make me smile gathering up your books and baby to say you need to do homework too.  You're the best!

 Dear Community Pool,
You are our new favorite spot! We've been there three times this week.  Addi sleeps better and we get to laugh a lot.  It's been fun to see Addi's confidence sky rocket in the pool.

PS please turn up the heat :)

 Dear School,
You're stressing me out a little this semester.  I always feel so lost and overwhelmed at the beginning of the semester, but this one is extra hard with the workload.  Please be good to me.

 Dear Gramma & Papa {my parents},
 Thank you for your awesome recordable book the kids got for Christmas.  I love how excited Addi gets to hear Gramma read to her.  And sometimes it's just nice to open a book and hear my mom voice too :)

Dear Dee,

Happy Birthday! Thanks for being an amazing big sister.  We might live states apart, but I always know that you are there for me.  I'm so proud of all you've accomplished as a wife, mom, runner, and person.  You are such an inspiration and support for me.

Dear Sweet Addi,

Thanks for letting me be your mama and showing me how to love better. I've loved cuddling with you sweet sick little self this week.  I pray you feel better soon.  Sorry for those times when mommy is just tired and don't have the patience I should. I love watching you grow up into an independent, loving, and adventurous little girl.  Thanks for being my mini best friend.

Dear Riverside, 

 Thank you for your amazing staff, for listening to the Lord, for reaching the least of these, for living out the Gospel, for feeding my soul, for relying on the supernatural power of the Lord.  The Lord has blessed us to be part of this community for now and I am so grateful! 

Dear Mom & Pa,

Thank you for loving our kids! There are days when I just miss you, when I feel like I'm royally failing as a daughter, mother, wife, and friend, then I opened this book and was reminded of your unconditional love for me.  That no matter when you're praying for me, my marriage and my kids. Thanks!

 Lord,

I thank you for my health! Last week as I ran past three funerals I was reminded that our days here are number.  I am blessed with a healthy body to I can go out and be your hands and feet.  Please don't let me take that for granted.  Remind me that my body is a temple and I need to keep it at it's best to serve you the best way possible. 

 Dear Addi & Morgan,

Thanks for being the best brother and sister team I could ask for.  Your love for each other is contagious.  Addi, when we pick up your brother your joy is uncontainable and I don't think you leave him alone for a single second all weekend.  Your heartbreaks just as much when he has to leave.  Morgan, you're amazing at celebrating Addi's development and playing with her.  I've never seen a four (and a half...you don't let us forget that half) year old be able to comfort his sister and explain to her in the best possible way why you have to leave, that you'll miss her but you always come back.  

You're love is a gift from God! 

 My Beloved Husband,

Thank you for blessing me so much! Thank you for confronting me when I'm in a slump, but also encouraging me through it.  Thank for getting my flowers to brighten my dreary winter day.  Thanks for being the best daddy in the world and being a toddler whisper.  There are days I just don't know what to do and you swoop right in and take care of it all.  You're amazing!

This year I want to work on being more thankful in the everyday thing.

Dear Sweet Addi,
Thank you for spoiling me and letting my be your mommy.  I love that I get to curl your hair, which turns into a dress up, then to a tea party.  You're the sweetest thing and you bring joy to everyone around you! {Even grandpa when you make him take part in your tea party.}

Dear School,

I love you, but I hate you.  Thanks for giving me a run for my money my first week back.  I can't wait to see what lessons are in store for me this semester.  Thanks you for teaching me about educating my babies! 

 Dear Fisher-Price Dolls,
I love that you keep my little girl entertained for hours, break barriers and stereotypes, and show her that wearing a baby in a front pack is awesome!

 Dear Evan,
Thank you for being the best husband and daddy in the world! Thank you for cuddling our kids and putting them down for naps so I can sneak away in the middle of the day to run and get some me time.  You're simply the best!

Lord,

Thank you for your new mercies every morning.  For the verses you've placed on my heart each morning.  Thank you for the amazing church you have placed us at for a time such as this.  Thank you for my amazing sister and friends that although we're all around the world you bring us together to support one no matter what's going on.
