Frozen Banana Ice Cream {recipe}

I want to introduce you to my favorite little treat:
BANANA ICE CREAM!

We always have two bananas sliced and in the freezer.
When we're craving a tasty treat we just pull them out.
It's seriously better then homemade ice cream {in my opinion}.
Addi always approves of our go to:

1-2 frozen bananas
1-2 tablespoons of peanut butter

Blend in the food processor or blending until smooth.
It will be be crumbly, but just pulse it and give it time.
You can add a splash of milk and it creates a smooth deliciousness.

 Tonight we found a new favorite!
I love all things fall and pumpkin,
however this fall I struck out on a lot of pumpkin recipes.
Tonight we struck gold!!!!!

Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream

2 frozen bananas
1/4 cup pureed pumpkin
1/4 almond milk
1/8 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure maple syrup (optional)

Blend and enjoy a bowl full of bliss!

The thing I love the most about this ice cream is:
 * it's delicious
* I don't miss regular ice cream at all
* I get to eat ice cream guilt free
* it's nutritious so it fills me up and lasts

  1. I LOVE frozen bananas. I like to cut them in half and stick a pop cycle stick in them and then dip them and chocolate and freeze! It's the best little treat. I might have to try the pumpkin stuff for Nick. He loves anything with pumpkin in it. Me, not so much.
