Pumpkin Time!

It's that time of year, pumpkin caving time!
The kids had a blast gutting the pumpkins and hammering gold tees into them.
Neither of the kids were super excited to get their hands messy,
but then they eventually dug right in.

The truth is pumpkin carving can be hard, especially with younger kids.
When I found the idea of pounding golf tees into the pumpkin I knew it was perfect!
This way the kids are being independent, having fun and I'm not carving pumpkins by myself.
However, my husband is the pumpkin carving pro.
The kids love seeing his creations, so we had to have an owl too!

Happy Harvest!

Country Girl

To say that my sweet little girl is horse obsessed might be the understatement of the year!
We live in Amish country, so we see them all the time.
When we went to my family's I was excited to find someone who would show her the ropes.

She was in heaven.

Not only did she get to ride a full size horse out on the road,
but there were chickens, a puppy and swings.
This girl loves the great outdoors!

Theses moments and smiles I want to remember for a lifetime.
